1. Commitment to accessibility

The REFLECT Project is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its websites and digital learning platform, in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, as part of its commitment to inclusive and equitable access to digital content in line with European accessibility principles.

2. Compliance status

The main project website is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA requirements. It is developed using WordPress with a responsive design and a structure optimized for accessibility across devices.

The learning platform learn.reflect-project.eu is based on Moodle and uses the Moove theme, which is designed with accessibility best practices in mind.

3. Accessibility measures implemented

  • Semantic structure with proper heading hierarchy
  • Responsive design for mobile, tablet, and desktop devices
  • Color contrast designed to support readability
  • Keyboard navigation support
  • Compatibility with assistive technologies, including screen readers
  • Use of Elementor Ally accessibility plugin to enhance interface usability
  • Moodle Moove theme aligned with accessibility standards

4. Multimedia content

Where applicable, multimedia content such as videos or learning materials is designed to be progressively accessible. Subtitles or alternative formats may be provided when available to improve accessibility.

5. Limitations and continuous improvement

Despite our ongoing efforts to ensure accessibility, some sections or content may not yet be fully optimized. The REFLECT Project is committed to continuous improvement to progressively reduce accessibility barriers.

6. Compatibility with browsers and assistive technologies

The website is designed to be compatible with modern browsers and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers and text resizing tools.
